Geraldo Thinks ‘Hip-Hop Is Damaging African-American Youth More Than Racism’

Most rap fans thought highly of Kendrick Lamar’s performance of “Alright” during Sunday night’s BET Awards.

FOX News talking head Geraldo isn’t a rap fan and didn’t approve of K.Dot’s performance one bit, which he shared with his viewing audience. Apparently, he found Lamar performing on top of a cop and reciting lyrics like “We hate po-po” to be “counterproductive.” Geraldo goes on by saying “Hip-hop has done more damage to young African-Americans than racism in recent years. This is exactly the wrong message.”

Being critical of Hip-Hop isn’t new for Geraldo. In fact, he’s doubling down because, back in February, he rattled off similar sentiments about rap and race.

The TV personality’s words weren’t totally ignored. TDE’s co-president Punch shot Geraldo a tweet with a link to Kendrick’s new video for “Alright”, just in case he missed it.
